🚀 Getting started with Tipanda
How do I create an account?
Open Tipanda, tap Create an account, enter your email and choose a password. Your family piggy bank is ready in under a minute.
How do I add a child?
From the Family tab, tap the + in the top right. Enter the child's first name and choose one of the 24 animal avatars.
How do I log a good deed?
Open your child's profile, tap Good deed, choose an action from the catalogue (or create a custom one) and confirm. Coins are added immediately.
How do I create a reward?
From the Rewards tab or a child's profile, tap +. Set a name, an emoji, and a coin cost. You can create shared rewards (for all children) or individual ones.
👤 My account
I forgot my password.
On the login screen, tap Forgot password?, enter your email. You'll receive a reset link in your inbox (check your spam folder too).
How do I change my email address?
Contact us at contact@sahanami.fr with your current address and we'll update it for you.
How do I delete my account?
Go to My account → Delete my account.
⚠️ This action is permanent: all your data (children, deeds, rewards) will be deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.

How do I subscribe?
In the app, go to My account and tap the Go Premium banner. Choose monthly or annual and confirm with Touch ID / Face ID.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Your subscription is managed by Apple:
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Tap your name → Subscriptions
- Select Tipanda → Cancel subscription
I switched to a new iPhone. How do I recover my subscription?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, then go to My account → Restore purchases. Your Premium subscription will be recognised automatically.
My Premium subscription isn't showing in the app.
Try My account → Restore purchases. If the issue persists, check that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID or contact us.

How do I enable notifications?
In the app: My account → Notifications → Weekly reminder (toggle on). If you denied notifications at first launch, the app will redirect you to iOS Settings to enable them manually.
What notifications does Tipanda send?
Tipanda sends only local notifications (generated on your device, no third-party server involved):
- Weekly reminder — every Monday at 9 am
- Inactivity reminder — if no deed has been logged in 7 days
How do I turn off notifications?
In the app: My account → Notifications (toggle off). Or via iOS Settings → Notifications → Tipanda.
🔧 Troubleshooting
The app won't load / data isn't showing.
- Check your internet connection (Tipanda needs a connection to sync)
- Force-close the app and reopen it
- If the issue persists, sign out then sign back in
My data has disappeared.
Your data is saved on our servers — it won't be lost if you change iPhones or reinstall the app. Sign back in with your email and password to retrieve it.
The app crashes or closes on its own.
Update Tipanda to the latest version from the App Store. If the issue continues, contact us with your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About).
